New York – Dec. 7, 2023 – The leadership of GallopNYC, a nonprofit providing therapeutic horsemanship programs for New Yorkers with disabilities, seniors and veterans, announced the generous donation of a 60-second promotional video from acclaimed filmmaker Cameron Willis.

Directed by Willis and produced by Underhill Productions, the video spotlights the transformative work of GallopNYC in enriching lives through therapeutic horsemanship. The project was made possible through the support and generosity of donors Susan and Scott Chant, aligning with Willis for a shared commitment to empower communities of individuals with disabilities.

Willis, known for his vision and storytelling expertise in commercial and documentary filmmaking, discovered GallopNYC during a fortuitous encounter while walking his dog. He witnessed a group of riders in branded t-shirts during the GallopNYC 2023 Central Park Promenade event. Willis was captivated.

"I was searching for an organization where my film production skills could make a profound impact," Willis said. "GallopNYC's commitment to bringing joy and empowerment to individuals facing adversity resonated deeply with me. Not only am I fascinated by horses, but my personal experiences with family members with disabilities have strengthened my belief in finding joy despite life's challenges."

The 60-second Anthem video, crafted by Willis and his team, features breathtaking visuals and a poignant narrative that authentically captures the spirit and impact of GallopNYC's programs.

"We are profoundly grateful to Cameron and the generous support from Susan and Scott Chant for this incredible gift," said GallopNYC Executive Director Marcos Stafne, Ph.D. "This video not only showcases the beauty of our programs but also highlights the joy our riders experience daily. It's a powerful testament to the transformative power of therapeutic horsemanship.”

Willis, with Director of Photography Joel Wolter and a team of dedicated professionals, including production by Underhill Productions and Kim Squires, Writer Sarah Allen, Assistant Camera Joe Brady, Gaffer Desta Mutisya, audio mix by STEMS Group, and color correction by Andrew Ceen, with camera gear provided by Cam Willis Productions, JJL Cinema, and Underhill Productions, produced the Anthem video to be a beacon of inspiration and awareness for GallopNYC's invaluable work.
