GallopNYC relies on our volunteers!

Each rider is supported by a volunteer leading the horse and one on each side of the rider.

NO EXPERIENCE is NEEDED. We provide training.

A love of horses is helpful, as is a desire to work with disabled individuals.

To sign-up to volunteer: Please fill out GallopNYC's online inquiry form here, or contact us at: volunteer@gallopnyc.org.

Tips for Volunteers
Wear long pants and comfortable shoes or boots - not sneakers or trainers. You may if you wish bring carrots for the horses. On arriving, introduce yourself to the co-ordinating volunteer on duty - he or she will assign you to a buddy if you are new - and get you started. Let us know if you have experience with horses, a medical background or other skills that would be useful.

HAVE FUN!

In case of Flu epidemic, GallopNYC will follow
NY City School Closing announcements.

If you have an AMEX card you can earn bonus miles for your volunteer time with GallopNYC!
