Get Involved

Volunteer
Volunteers enjoy the personal satisfaction of helping children and adults with developmental, emotional, social, and physical challenges, all while working with and being around horses, one of nature’s most empathetic animals.

Group Volunteer
Whether you’re looking to volunteer with friends, alumni, neighbors, or regulars from your morning commute, volunteering as a group is a great way to multiply your impact and improve the lives of New Yorkers with disabilities.

Corporate Volunteering
GallopNYC welcomes company teams of volunteers! We’ve had great groups from Blackstone, Moody’s, Goldman Sachs, Deloitte, and so many more! Working together during our therapeutic programs builds teamwork and presents an opportunity for co-workers to get to know one another in a different capacity.

Individual
Therapeutic horsemanship teaches the skills of horseback riding and horse knowledge to build developmental, emotional, social, and physical skills for each individual rider. Under the direction of a PATH International certified instructor, supported by trained volunteers, each rider progressively acquires riding skills and measurable improvements in life skills. Through weekly sessions, we help riders walk, talk, learn and have FUN!
